Soprano Julia Bae is a native of Seoul, South Korea. In the spring of 2015, Ms. Bae made her opera debut as Pamina in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at the Indiana University Opera Theatre. After her opera debut, Ms. Bae has performed Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen, Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Liù from Puccini's Turandot and Mimì from Puccini's La bohème in the United States, Germany and Czech Republic.
Ms. Bae is a winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in Ohio district and central region finalist.
